How to grow Dendrobium orchids:

Dendrobiums enjoy bright light and about 50% to 60% humidity. Getting the drainage right is an important factor, so pot your dendrobium in media such as fir bark or tree fern with a 2" layer of drainage material at the bottom of the pot. When growing, dendrobiums can use almost constant moisture as long as drainage is good and air circulation is constant. Use a liquid fertilizer to feed your dendrobium, doing so at every other watering. HOWEVER: Do not fertilize when the dendrobium is leafless (it's dormant, and does not require it then). The ideal temperatures are 50℉ at night and 85℉ during the day.
